Raja Bazar lies on the Bailey road and is an emerging commercial center on bailey road in Patna. Raja Bazar is surrounded by other colonies viz. Sheikpura, Ashiana Nagar, Rukanpura.  IGIMS too shares it boundary with Raja Bazar. On western side it touches Ashiana Digha road too. It is about 7kms from Patna railway station and 4 kms from Patna airport. It is only one and half kilometers away from Botanical garden. On our site we include a large number of areas on other side of Bailey road like Ara gardens and nearby areas with Raja Bazar in Patna.

On the bailey road side Raja Bazar is the main commercial center in western Patna. It matches any other commercial centers of Patna. A large number of retail outlets of all sizes and brands as well as a large number of offices are located in Raja Bazar. A new modern hospital called Paras HMRI (erstwhile hai medical center) is coming up in Raja Bazar. Hazarat Belal Mosque is located in this colony. Bihar Institute of Law falls in Raja Bazar.

As a residential colony Raja Bazar is a mix of houses, apartments and narrow roads. It lacks open spaces like parks and playing fields. In fact Raja Bazar has a large number of apartments. It is a crowded colony where there is no demarcation between residential and commercial areas. Along with Ashiana Nagar,Raja Bazar signifies the initial expansion of Patna towards it western frontier.
